STANLEY STYLE

poor little stanley is still sick. i really feel for him. he is trying to remain chipper when i know he feels like crap. hoping he knocks it on the head after the weekend and we can get back to having fun, and he can start enjoying his food again!
a good note though my talk i think went ok last night. it is nice to show my work sometimes, and to look back at what i've done and reflect on it. i think i will be joining BIG. they seem a friendly bunch and it's always nice to be part of a little illustrator community locally.

will be here tonight giving a talk about my children's books and sketchbooks along with 5 other illustrator types for the Brighton Illustrators Group. i'm normally not that nervous after teaching at degree level for 5 years but i feel out of touch at the minute as i've been out of it for too long! plus with stan being ill i feel more unprepared than usual...
off to practise now. it's only short so should be ok, hoping i won't fall asleep.....
