My name is Sarah. I used to just illustrate for a living. Now I illustrate and take care of my lovely little boy Stanley. We live in a lovely 1930s semi beside the sea in Brighton with my husband Ben, his Daddy, and our rescue cat with all her issues, Betty.
When Stanley is napping or out having fun with his Grandparents I take the chance to make my illustrations. I illustrate and write children's books and you can see all of that work on my website here. So far I have published seven. My eighth is finished and due out Spring 2013, and I'm just about to get started on my ninth, I hope!
I have recently set up an Etsy shop to sell various prints of my illustrations as well as original artwork from all of my books. It is taking up too much space, and you know there might be another baby coming along in the future!
This blog is a mixture of my life as a Mum, illustrator and wife, and aims to document all the little ups and downs on the way.

I love your blog and your illustrations are amazing! I'm actually studying creative writing myself, and hope to one day write young adult novels as well as some children's books. It's wonderful to see someone doing what they love. You're inspiring!
